To provide an aromatic substance container for controlling volatilization of a volatile component and, thus, can secure the duration of aroma sufficiently while volatilizing the volatilization component efficiently from an aromatic substance in the form of beads.
The container is composed of a container body 11 which holds the aromatic substance in the form of many beads 12, and a cover body 14 which includes a front face plate 20 for covering an opening surface 11a of the container body 11. An opening-surface covering sheet 19 in which air slits 15 on the sheet side are formed on the opening surface 11a of the container body 11 is attached, and air slits 16 on the box side are formed on a main side part 17a of the container body 11. In a state where a flange 18 of side surface parts 17b which are contiguous to both sides of the main side part 17a is pressed against a plate part 24, for keeping distance, of a cover body 14 from behind and also the flange 18 of the main side part 17a and the opposite side part 17c is brought into contact with the internal side of an overhanging wall part 23b of a bottom part 22b while an engaging convex part 25 of a plate-like overhanging part 26 being engaged with an engaging concave part 21, the container body 11 is attached to the cover body 14 detachably and exchangeably.
