Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition excellent in both of impact resistance and appearance of moldings and useful for electrical and electronic parts, etc., by including an aromatic vinyl-based resin, a rubber-based resin, higher alcohol and phenols.

CONSTITUTION: This resin composition contains (A) an aromatic vinyl-based resin, (B) a rubber-based resin and (C) higher alcohol and/or phenols. Preferably, the component C is 6-20C monohydric alcohol and the component B contains an aromatic vinyl-based monomer as one component and the component A is a copolymer of the aromatic vinyl monomer and an unsaturated carboxylic acid. Further, a blend ratio of the component C is preferably 0.05-0.5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total amount of the components A and B.
