Abstract:
To obtain an arrangement in which heat transfer tubes are separated from each other without constituting obstacles of products and separated from an inner wall of a casing tube.
The arrangement in a tube heat exchanger (1) for processing food products includes a large number of the heat transfer tubes (3) surrounded by the casing tube (4). The heat transfer tubes (3) are firmly fixed to tube plates (5) at both ends, and at least one (5'') of the tube plates is movable relative to the casing tube (4). Approximately 1,000 N of an axial force F per heat transfer tube (3) is applied to the movable tube plate (5'') so as to stretch the heat transfer tubes (3) tightly.
