Abstract:
To obtain arrangement of a plurality of single stage Roots pump with which driving force of a motor can easily be converted to rotation of rotors, and pumping is smoothly carried out.
A driving gear 17 is fixed to a driving shaft 5b of a motor 5. First and second timing gears 18 to 25 to be meshed with each other are fixed to first and second shafts 8, 9 of first to fourth single stage Roots pumps 1 to 4. The first timing gear 18 of the first single stage Roots pump 1 is meshed with the driving gear 17. The first timing gear 21 of the second single stage Roots pump 2 is meshed with the first timing gear 18. The similar structures are sequentially provided.
