To provide an arranging structure for a fuel pump in a ship whereby the large-sized fuel pump can be rationally arranged and the improvement of durability of the fuel pump can be attained.

A ship is formed in a constitution mounting an engine 3 and a fuel tank in an engine room S in the inside of a ship body 2, providing an opening part 2d in the ship body 2 upward of the engine 3, covering the opening part 2d with a sheet 7 (cover unit) able to be opened/closed, also having an injector (fuel injection valve) 28 and a fuel pump 30, and connecting one end of an intake device 14 to one side surface of the engine 3. In the sideward of one side surface of the engine 3 and under the intake device 14, at least partly the fuel pump 30 is arranged. Dead space is utilized to rationally arrange the large-sized fuel pump 30 and at maintenance time, even when water intrudes from the opening part 2d opened to an upper surface of the ship body 2, water is obstructed by the intake device 14, by preventing the water from being sprayed in the fuel pump 30 to enhance its durability.
