In this arrester device, a plurality of suspension insulators 1, 3 are arranged on the same axis between a transmission and distribution wire 1 and an earth potential and connected so as to be capable of swing, an earthing side terminal 10 of an arrester 4 is fixed to the suspension insulator 3 to earth and connect, and an arcing horn 20 faced to the transmission and distribution wire 1 through an air gap is fixed to a charged side terminal 9 of the arrester 4, a charged side fixing fixture 17 is fixed to the suspension insulator 2 in the lower position, the tip of a supporting frame 19 extending from the fixing fixture 17 is electrically, mechanically connected and fixed to the charged side terminal 9 of the arrester 4, the straight arcing horn 20 extending from the fixing fixture 17 is arranged in parallel to the transmission and distribution wire 1, and the earthing side terminal 10 of the arrester 4 is connected to the suspension insulator 3 in the upper position with a flexible electric wire 23.
