Abstract:

To prevent hacking by minimizing inputs by a purchaser by enabling account settlement to be executed only by the purchaser's inputting of the reference number of a mobile terminal when purchasing goods and/or service and by using an ARS communication channel in a system of receiving an input of a settlement password from the purchaser.

An account settling method comprises a step of providing the reference number of a mobile terminal of a purchaser 10 to an account settling server 200 to request account settlement; a step of checking whether the purchaser 10 is already registered or not by the reference number of the mobile terminal; a step, if not yet registered, of receiving an input of, storing and registering purchaser registration information including a settlement password and account settlement means registration information corresponding to multiple kinds of settling means; a step of setting a main settling means out of the multiple kinds of settling means; a step of calling up the mobile terminal of the purchaser 10 to give audio guidance service and requesting an input of the settlement password over an ARS communication channel; and a step of approving the transaction by the main settling means if the inputted settlement password is found identical with the registered one.
