Abstract:
To provide an arsenic-adsorbent and a method for removing arsenic wherewith and whereby arsenic can be continuously removed from an arsenic- contg. liq. hydrocarbon efficiently in a high removal ratio over a long term.
This adsorbent contains active carbon wherein the vol. of micropores having radii of 5 or higher accounts for at least 25% of the vol. of micropores having radii of 50 or lower. The method for removing arsenic from an arsenic-contg. liq. hydrocarbon comprises bringing the hydrocarbon into contact with the adsorbent.
