Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art supplies box that is simple in the assembly and storage operation of an easel, can mount a canvas larger than the dimension of the box and never defiles clothes and bags when carried, concerning the art supplies box capable of using a box lid as the easel.SOLUTION: An art supplies box includes a box body, a box lid, a guide lever provided in the width center of a box lid upper surface, a lifting/lowering rod inserted in the guide lever, a pressing member provided on the tip of the lifting/lowering rod, leg members pivoted in a freely openable/closable manner in the left and right backward at both ends of the trailing edge of the box body, a support rod and support bar swingably connected to the guide lever, and engaging pairs for engaging the leg members with the tip of the support bar. The opened box lid is held in a desired angle by engaging the tip of the support bar to the opened leg members. The rear end of the lifting/lowering rod is stored in the recessed groove of the support rod attached on the upper surface of the box lid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
