The article box-packing equipment sequentially sends out the low-profile articles Y rectangular in a plan view, which are sequentially conveyed by a conveyor 1, in a nonstop situation from a tail end 1a of the conveyor, so that the predetermined number of articles Y are housed in a stack inside a storage box X awaiting the article Y below the tail end 1a of the conveyor. In this case, the tail end 1a of the conveyor is fitted with an article decelerating and reversing member 2 for turning the article Y upside down and dropping it, after the article Y sent out from the tail end of the conveyor, gets over the member 2 so as to be decelerated. Thus, the articles Y is housed and stacked in a neatly arranged state in the storage box X at a high handling speed by the simple constitution.
