The article conveying device conveys an article 2 placed on the conveyed article support member 5 along the conveying path. The traveling working platform 6 comprises a drive means for traveling the traveling working platform 6 on the traveling rails 3. The working platform unit 4 comprises the storage device 15 for supplying electric power to the drive means. The storage device 15 is chargeable within several seconds or minutes.
