PURPOSE: To offer a system inputting the information of destination to the processing system of computers without fail at the time of the delivery of articles.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of inputting the address of the destination, mail terminals 11 perform the comparison with a data base on address. The result is transferred from a center 15 to the mail terminals 11 if it is correct. Receiving this, the mail terminals 11 barcode-output the information on the destination address. A user adds this barcode-output to the articles. In a workpiece where the articles are collected, the article with barcode is processed by a segmenting device. Since the destination information is properly inputted to the articles by barcode, the segmenting device reads and processes the information.
