It is characterized by that, in a conveyance part, an article lifted along the lifting conveyance path is conveyed along the uppermost horizontal conveyance path, it is transferred to a horizontal conveyance path that is one tier lower by the inter-tier conveyance path, it is conveyed in the opposite direction in the next tier horizontal conveyance path, it is conveyed to the lowermost horizontal conveyance path by repeating the transfer at least once, and it is lifted along the lifting conveyance path from the lowermost horizontal conveyance path to the uppermost horizontal conveyance path.
