Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an article feeder by which the arrangement of articles is not disturbed even if the articles are freely dropped in a long distance and qualified articles can be classified from unqualified articles and further, two rows or more can be processed.
CONSTITUTION: Unstable articles 40 which are apt to disturb the arrangement are fed in a plurality of rows of chutes 3a, 3b, 3c... having different height respectively. And a collecting conveyor 5 having receivers 52, 52... to receive these articles 40 is equipped. The upper chute 3a is placed to be opposite thereto in a short distance at a high position of the collecting conveyor 5. And subsequently, the lower chute 3b is placed to be opposite thereto in a short distance at a lower position of the collecting conveyor 5 in turn.
