PURPOSE: To provide an article having an undercoating layer composed of a specific water-based coating material, having excellent adhesivity between the substrate and the undercoating material and between the undercoating material and the top-coating material and capable of surely developing high weather-resistance of a water-based fluororesin coating layer.
CONSTITUTION: This article has a coating layer of a water-based fluororesin coating material applied to an undercoating layer formed on the surface oft the article with a water-based coating material containing an aqueous dispersion of a one-pack cold-crosslinking compound as an essential component. The aqueous dispersion of the one-pack cold-crosslinking compound is preferably e.g. a dispersion of (meth)acrylic polymer having alkoxyl group on the side chain. The water-based fluororesin coating material preferably contains a fluorine- containing copolymer having a unit derived from a fluoroolefin as an essential component. The fluoroolefin is preferably a perhaloolefin such as chlorotrifluoroethylene.
