CONSTITUTION: In this article housing device for automobile, a box 2 in which a box form upper stage container 12 is attached; and a lid 3 to close the upper side opening of the box 2; are provided, and the upper stage container 12 is installed allowable to open and close, and rotatable to the lid 3 side and the like through hinges 11, while the lid 3 is installed to the box 2 side allowable to open and close, and rotatable to the box 2 side through hinges. Furthermore, a lock member 13 provided between the upper stage container 12 and the lid 3 side, which makes the lid 3 in a locking condition to the upper stage container 12 in the first pressing operation to the closing side, and releases the locking condition so as to open only the lid 3 by the second pressing operation, is provided.
