CONSTITUTION: In an article housing rack equipped with a rack plate 2 formed between a pair of right and left side walls 11 and on which a block to house an article classified by every article is set, and a sensor means 4 to transmit a signal by detecting the presence/absence of the housing of the article at every block, the rack plate 2 is constituted of a inter-side wall bridging rack 21 dridging the pair of right and left side walls 11, and a sensor supporting plate 3 suspending the senfor means 4 installed at the lower part of the inter-side wall bridging rack 21. Therefore, a connecting screw is screwed in the inter-side wall bridging rack 21 setting the head part of the screw in downward direction, and a hole through which the head part of the connecting screw can pass and a piercing hole consisting of a hole through which no head part of the connecting screw communicated with the hole can pass are formed at the sensor supporting plate 3.
