Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select an article displayed optimally in CT inspection to automate inspection.
SOLUTION: This method has a process for determining preliminarily a size level of a cargo 6 suitable for CT inspection, a process for conveying the cargo 6 to an X-ray CT unit 2 when the cargo 6 has a size suitable for the inspection as a result detetmined hereinbefore, and a process for sorting the cargo 6 to a branched conveying passage 5A to be conveyed when the cargo 6 has a size not suitable for the inspection. The cargo 6 suitable for the CT inspection in the X-ray CT unit 2 is thus surely selected even when the cargos 6 conveyed on a conveying passage 1 are different in their sizes, the optimum display is conducted by the CT inspection, and labor of an operator is reduced thereby.
