This article receiving body processing facility has a carrying means 10 to carry the article receiving body 1, an article receiving body lifting means 20 by which a lifting body 30 can vertically go in and out against the carrying surface 10a of the carrying means 10, and an article receiving body holding means 40 engageable/disengageable with/from the article receiving body 1 positioned above the carrying surface 10a. A positioning body 37 protrusively positioned on the carrying surface 10a when the lifting body 30 goes in/out downward against the carrying surface 10a is arranged on a lifting body 30 side. By the structure of positioning the body arranged on the lifting body side, the positioning and lifting of the article receiving body can be realized by a simple structure and at a low cost, and also the article receiving body can be passed and carried.
