PURPOSE: To improve service to customers by correcting the contents of a transaction which is concluded once by a key operation in a short time when the corretion is requested from a customer and reissuing a receipt by the transaction contents after the correction.

CONSTITUTION: A POS system is constructed by connecting POS terminals 1a to 1n and a file processor 2 as a host computer in a closed loop state by a communication line 3 and connecting the file processor 2 with a store processor 4 by a communication line 5. When the error of a receipt is indicated by a customer, the corrected information for transaction statement information may be inputted after a cashier selects a transaction correction job and subsequently inputs the terminal number and the transaction number printed on the error receipt and this input is made passible by a simple operation. Because a receipt is reissued by the contents after transaction contents is corrected, the receipt after the transaction contents is corrected can be surely reissued for the customer indicating the error of the receipt.
