Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen operations in number by an article receiving tray above a pallet, and an elevating tray, and thereby enhance processing capacity as a whole.
SOLUTION: An article step loading system is equipped with a first step loading means 3 which transfer-loads a plurality of works W to a second conveyor carried on in order over a first conveyor 1 after the works have been step loaded, and with a second step loading means which loads the works W on a pallet over a pallet based after a plurality of the works W carried on in order over the second conveyor 2, have been step loaded furthermore. The first step loading means 3 is provided with an article receiving tray 34 which is freely moved up and down at the terminal end position of the first conveyor 1, and is furthermore freely projected/withdrawn, and with an electing tray 36 which is freely elevated below the article receiving tray 34 located at the projected position. Each article W over the first conveyor 1 is step loaded over the elevating tray 36 in a combteeth shape by way of the article receiving tray 34, the works W are thereby transfer loaded onto the second conveyor 2 by lowering the elevating tray 36 to a place where the aforesaid tray enters a space between the rollers of the second conveyor 2.
