To enable a plurality of article storage apparatuses to be easily coupled and separated and to be easily aligned in depth, prevent a dimension from being large and also make appearance advantageous by providing a magnet for coupling the plurality of article storage apparatuses on an external face of an article storage apparatus and by providing a magnet on an external face opposite to the former external face.

A plate-like magnet 3a is embedded in a first external face of a cassette case storage apparatus body 2, while a plate-like magnet 3b is embedded in an external face opposite to the first external face. The magnet 3b of another cassette case storage apparatus 1 to be coupled is made to face the magnet 3a of the cassette case storage apparatus 1 so that front face ends of the cassette case storage apparatuses are aligned for coupling. If the magnet 3a of the apparatus 1 is made to face the magnet 3b of the other apparatus 1 so that their front face ends are approximately aligned, respective north poles and south poles attract each other, so that the apparatuses can be in tight contact with their front face ends neatly aligned.
