To provide an article storage basket capable of easily taking out/putting in an article and following the folding operation of a stroller, and a folding stroller having the same.
The folding stroller 1 comprises a stroller body 2 having a seat 3 and a backrest part 4 while the seat part 3 and the backrest part 4 are brought close to each other in a folded condition, and an article storage basket 20 arranged below the seat part 3. The article storage basket 20 includes a front frame 21 extending in the longitudinal direction below the seat part 3, a rear frame 22 turnably connected to a rear end of the front frame 21 and extending in the longitudinal direction, and a locking mechanism 30 to prohibit the turn of the rear frame 22 with respect to the front frame 21. The rear frame 22 is turnable between the lower position at which a rear portion of the article storage basket 20 is opened, the horizontal position extending substantially in the horizontal direction, and the upper position with a rear end thereof close to the backrest part 4. The locking mechanism 30 includes a horizontal position fixing means to fix the rear frame 22 in the horizontal position.
