Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage device with an automatic function to restore a container projected from a shelf-frontage to a specified storage position by utilization of a stacker conveying machine.
SOLUTION: An article storage device allows a stacker type conveying machine 6 to move along the shelf frontage face of a storage shelf to carry in/out containers to/from a pallet into the shelf room by a transfer means capable of moving together with the pallet 8 provided so that it can freely rise and fall. In this case, the article storage device is provided with a moving means 21 for the stacker type conveying machine 6, a pushing-in means for pushing the container loaded on the pallet 8 by means of a raising and lowering means 22 for the pallet 8, and a control means 20 for driving-controlling the moving means 21, the raising and lowering means 22, and the pushing means to restore the container to a container-storage position. The control means 20 controls the transfer means to push in the projected container to a specified storage position, and to return a container in one shelf to a specified storage position. Then, the control means moves the transfer means to an adjacent shelf, and allows the transfer means to return a container to a specified storage position.
