To provide an article conveyance means for picking capable of performing the work for picking a large-sized article and a small-sized article reliably.
A strip-like auxiliary supporting body 22 is provided in an end part on a floor part side for work in an article storage part 1p for picking while it is loaded and supported over a pair of right and left article supporting bodies 18. Short auxiliary supporting bodies 23 having the same height as that of the strip-like auxiliary supporting body 22 are provided in an end part on a space side for conveying an article in the article storage part 1p for picking while they are separately loaded and supported in each of the pair of right and left article supporting bodies 18. As for the large-sized article w1 having large width in the direction of width in front and rear of a shelf, it is loaded and supported by the strip-like auxiliary supporting body 22 and the pair of short auxiliary supporting bodies 23. As for the small-sized article w2 having small width in the direction of width in front and rear of the shelf, it is put in a recessed part among the strip-like auxiliary supporting body 22 and the pair of short auxiliary supporting bodies 23 and is loaded and supported by the pair of right and left article supporting bodies 18.
