PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storing and sorting device for storing and sorting articles, which can reliably associate a storage container for storing the article for each storage type with the article stored in the storage container.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: An article storing and sorting device for storing and sorting articles comprises: a storage container for storing an article for each storage type; a storage container identifier provided in the storage container for identifying the storage container; a transport part for transporting the storage container; and a storage part for storing the storage container transported from the transport part.
