Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article to be cremated together with a body which will not be broken or lose its color, keeping luster even if the article is burned with the body at the cremation, and to provide a method for producing such an article.
SOLUTION: This article to be cremated together with a body is produced as follows: In order to obtain an Al2O3-TiO2-SiO2 porcelain 2, a glass phase 3 is formed on the surrounding surface of the porcelain. And to obtain an Au layer 4 or a Pt layer 4 on the glass phase on the surrounding surface of the porcelain, an oxide skin 5 is removed from the surface of the Au layer or the Pt layer. The article produced in this method has excellent heat resistance and sporing resistance at a high temperature of cremation, and the quality can be improved, keeping its appearance and shape beautiful without regard to the atmosphere inside a furnace. At the same time, high productivity and mass productivity can be achieved with a high yield rate.
