PURPOSE: To reduce driving power for an apparatus by forming the conveyor belt of a conveyor attached to a dryer drying a printed can into a belt with openings or a net belt and so as to have openings or slits by use of aramid fiber.

CONSTITUTION: A conveyor belt 5 in the conveyor of this article treatment apparatus has a base 19 formed out of aramid fiber and is formed with a smooth plastic coating part 21 on its underside 20. The conveyor belt 5 is placed and supported on a pedestal 3 formed with vacuum openings or slits at the coating part 21, which permits the conveyor belt 5 to be a surface flat enough to convey an article with stability. The conveyor belt 5 is formed with a plurality of openings 22 for air-circulating operation, which permits the effective drying of a tube by the air passing through the openings 22. The conveyor belt 5 may be formed as a net belt embedded with a net 24.
