Abstract:
Provided is an article having on the surface thereof a film suitable for suppressing deterioration, or for recovering from deterioration, in appearance due to the adhesion of sebum from a human body. The provided article 10 comprises a substrate 1 and a film 2 that is formed on the substrate, wherein the film includes a layer 12 that is exposed on the surface of the film, the surface roughness Ra of this surface being 0.5 nm to 50 nm. In one embodiment of the present invention, the sliding angle of water on the surface of the film 2 is less than or equal to 30 degrees, and the exposed layer 12 may comprise an organic polymer. The organic polymer has a main chain containing, for example, a polydialkylsiloxane structure.
