PURPOSE: To uniformize the properties of the carrier without inducing a nonspecific reaction by treating gelatin, metaphosphate and anion surfactant with an aldehyde compd.
CONSTITUTION: The uniform artificial carrier is obtd. by treating the gelatin, metaphosphate and anion surfactant with the aldehyde compd.. The gelatin may be commercially marketed gelatin and the acidic gelatin which can control the surface potential of the artificial carrier is more particularly preferable. The metaphosphate is the compd. expressed by formula: (MPO3)n (M is an Na atom or K atom; n is 3 to 6). More concretely, there are various kinds, such as Na trimetaphosphate, etc., and the use of Na hexametaphosphate is more preferable. The anion surfactant is a higher fatty acid salt, alkyl sulfate, etc., and more concretely, Na dodecyl sulfate is more preferable. The aldehyde compd. is formalin, glyoxal, etc., and glutaraldehyde is adequately used.
