PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily transmit an image to an artificial retina in a non-contact manner.SOLUTION: An artificial eye 10 includes: an imaging part 16 for imaging a visual field direction of a user that is an organism; a light emission part 19 for emitting light indicating an imaged picture of the imaging part 16; and an artificial retina 20 implanted to the user, receiving a laser beam from the light emission part 19 and transmitting information corresponding to a light-receiving result to an optic nerve of the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
