Abstract:
This artificial auditory organ arranged in the cochlea has a support part, an electrode part, a vibrating part, and a frame part. The electrode part protrudes from the support part in a predetermined implantation direction. The vibrating part extends from the support part in the opposite direction from the implantation direction, is capable of vibrating in a vibration direction intersecting with the implantation direction, and is capable of converting vibration in the vibration direction into an electrical signal and outputting the electrical signal to the electrode part. The frame part is fixed to the support part, and surrounds the vibrating part as viewed in the vibration direction.
