Abstract:
To provide an artificial heart pump which is embedded in the body of a person to be fitted, can prevent the generation of thrombus or hemolysis from occurring, and can safely be used over a long perid of time.
This artificial heart pump has a housing 1, a fixing shaft 2 which is fixed in the housing 1, a rotator 3 which is arranged in the housing 1, and a driving device 4 which rotates and drives the rotator 3. On the inner peripheral surface 121 of a downstream side housing 12, a female thread-like spiral groove 51 of the same pivoting direction as a left screw as an axial streaming motion section is formed.
