Abstract:
To provide an artificial heart pump for preventing the occurrence of a phenomenon which damages the function of blood such as hemolysis or a thrombus.
In the artificial heart pump 10 for rotating the impeller 12 housed in a housing 11, the plate thickness of each of the blades 14 formed to the impeller 12 is set to a value smaller than a required plate thickness in the end parts 14a of the blades 14, which become the inner wall surface sides 11a of the housing 11.
