Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably fix a cable of an artificial heart pump.SOLUTION: An artificial heart pump includes a pump part 4 for pumping blood and a cable 7 connected to the pump part 4. The pump part 4 includes a pump casing body 41 for covering an impeller 44 and a drive mechanism 45 from outside, and a cylindrical cable insertion tube 42 into which the cable 7 is inserted. The cable 7 includes a cable body 71 whose first end part is inserted into the cable insertion tube 42, a first end projection 72 that projects outside radially integrated with the cable body 71, and a fixed part 74 disposed so as to cover the cable body 71 from outside, straddling from the first end side to the second end side on the opposite side with the first end projection 72 as a reference. The fixed part 74 includes a slipping-off prevention part facing the end surface of the second end side of the first end projection 72, and an attachment part attached to the cable insertion tube 42.
