Title:
ARTIFICIAL LAWN USED FOR SPORTS FIELD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3924061
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the excellent cushioning property by implanting a heat shrinkable pile yarn using a resin composition consisting of ethylene α-olefin polymer and a polyolefin resin and straight pile yarn in a base cloth in a mixed manner.
SOLUTION: Ethylene α olefin polymer is manufactured using a metallocene catalyst of 0.1-10 g/10 min. in melt flow rate, 0.90-0.93 g/cm3 is density, 80-125°C in maximum peak temperature(TM) by DSC, 1.85-3.5 in molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn), and 0.5-4 g in melt tension. Heat shrinkable pile yarn formed using a resin composition consisting of, by weight, 50-90% copolymer and 10-50% polyolefin resin of ≥800 MPa in bending elasticity, and straight pile yarn are implanted in a base cloth in a mixed manner. The pile yarn becomes irregular in length, and the lawn with the appearance similar to that of the natural lawn, and free from directionality in lawn, can be obtained. Thus, the appropriate cushioning property can be obtained.
