Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an artificial lawn wherein a surface touch of a soft feel is given, concealed effect and voluminous feeling are especially excellent, and sufficient elasticity necessary for sports are given.
CONSTITUTION: An artificial lawn is composed of synthetic fiber piles. A bundle of tufted piles is composed of at least two kinds of thick and fine monofilament threads 2. At least one kind of the monofilament threads are a monofilament thread of at most 350 deniers, and protruded by at least 2mm from the other thick kind of the monofilament threads 2.
