Abstract:
To provide a 0.5-6 mm thick artificial marble having patterns with sizes of 7-50 mm.
This method for producing an artificial marble from a plurality of colored particle-containing curable resins comprises drawing patterns having sizes of 5-70 mm on the inner surface of a mold for producing the artificial marble from one or more kinds of the colored particle-containing curable resins, coating the pattern-drawn surface with the curable resin containing the particles whose color is different from that of the colored particle-containing curable resin used for drawing the first pattern, and finally curing the resins to form the objective artificial marble.
