Abstract:

To provide an artificial molar set for an artificial tooth capable of simultaneously providing a tongue space and achieving a chewing stability.

A molar 1 has a cusp 6, and the cusp is engaged with a chewing cavity 7 disposed to face it. The cusp 6 has rougly flat facets 8 and 12, and facets 9 and 11 of the chewing dent 7 are corresponding to the facets 8, 12. At the time of biting, at least two corresponding facets of the cusp 6 and the chewing cavity 7 overlap with each other. At least a pair of the corresponding facets of the cusp 6 and the chewing cavity 7 are positioned on the outer side/ cheek side 8 and 9 and/or back/far, and they have much larger surface than the facets 12 and 11 inversely inclined to them. One of the larger facets 8 and 9 is raised outward, and the other is raised backward, while one of the smaller facets 12 or 11 is raised inward, with the other raised forward.
