An artificial nail 100 includes: a nail-like artificial nail bed which includes one end 112 in which a curvature is formed in the same direction as that of a free edge of a finger nail, the other end 114 positioned on the opposite side of the one end, and a nail wall 116 positioned on both side faces of the one end and the other end, and whose adhesive surface 119 is attached to the finger nail; and a snag fit 120 which is extended to the other end of the artificial nail bed and is formed so as to be bent in the adhesive surface direction. The use of the artificial nail 100 can minimize a gap between the finger nail and the artificial nail bed to prevent foreign materials from entering through the gap, thereby retaining adhesive force of an adhesive agent for a long time as well as preventing the artificial nail bed from being peeled off from the finger nail due to an object being caught by the other end 114 of the artificial nail bed and the nail wall 116 at work, thus allowing a contact state between the other end 114 of the artificial nail bed and cuticle to be continuously maintained even when the finger nail grows for a certain period.
