Title:
ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE TERRESTRIAL STATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2818119
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an artificial satellite terrestrial station which can perform the reception/transmission of data to all satellites even when plural satellites get in a range of observation at a time and also can increase the range of observation.
CONSTITUTION: The terrestrial station is provided with the antennas 2a and 2b which receive the radio waves from the satellites 10-1, 10-2, 11-1 and 11-2, the distributors 3a and 3b which distribute the output of antennas, the switches 4a-1, 4a-2, 4b-1 and 4b-2 which select and output the output of one of both distributors, and the receiving devices 5a-1, 5a-2, 5b-1 and 5b-2 which perform the exclusive receiving processing in response to each satellite by the output of those switches. If the satellite 10-2 gets in a range of observation while the antenna 2a is tracking the satellite 10-1, the antenna 2b is instructed to track the satellite 10-2 and at the same time the output of the antenna 2b is inputted to the device 5a-2. Furthermore, the ranges of observation of both antennas 2a and 2b are synthesized by the functions of switches.
