Title:
ARTIFICIAL STONE BLOCK AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3035525
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulated outlook to the state of a cut natural stone by making the opening diameter of a bottomed hole smaller than the maximum inner diameter of the bottomed hole in the artificial stone block with scattered bottomed holes, each of which has an opening on the surface.
SOLUTION: A pigment is applied to a mass body formed by adding water to magnesium sulfate and kneading these materials and the mass bodies are scattered over the bottom of a frame. Further a concrete obtained by kneading cement, water, Ryukyu limestone grains and pigment is poured into the frame. Next the mass bodies are gradually dissolved by moisture contained in the concrete by curing the concrete and finally disappear. Consequently the parts where the mass bodies are present become cavities and remain unremoved. Numerous bottomed holes 12 with openings 11 are formed on the surfaces of the parts, and the diameter 12a of the opening 11 of each of the bottomed holes 12 is smaller than the maximum inner diameter 12b of the bottomed hole 12. That is, the artificial stone block 10 is of such a structure that the bottomed holes 12 which are internally wider than the opening parts are scattered on the surface.
