To provide a composite material panel which is made from an Arundo donax (one kind of a grass), and to provide a pulp produced from the Arundo donax.

The Arundo donax is finely broken (at the step 20) to a suitable size, and binders are added at the steps 40 and 50 to be coupled to the broken Arundo donax pulps. Further, a panel which agrees with the quality standards of building and/or furniture is obtained by uniting at the step 80 through a mat forming step 60 and a front pressing step 70. While, minutely finely broken Arundo donax is processed in a conventional pulping process, thereby manufacturing the pulp which has a high tensile strength and light-colored as compared with a wood pulp.
