Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hook rod from being kept hooked on a strike even if a door frame or a door is deformed when an earthquake occurs.
SOLUTION: A lock box 1 is provided retreatably via a guide means 2 in a door 10. The lock box 1 is excited backward, and it is normally restricted at the front position by a regulating means 4. At least one protruded piece is provided on the inner periphery section of a door frame 20. An interlocking mechanism provided in the door 10 and pressed and operated by the protruded piece when an earthquake occurs is interlocked with the regulating means 4, and the restriction of the lock box 1 by the regulating means 4 is released in an emergency to allow the retreat of the lock box 1.
