Title:
ASEISMATIC PIPING METHOD FOR PIPELINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000130639
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an aseismatic construction method capable of properly absorbing the indeterminate ground displacement by an earthquake and simply allowing the on-site work.

Steel pipes 11a, 11b and 11c, 11d are connected together by joints 12a, 12d, one end of the steel pipe 11b and one end of a transition joint 13a are connected via a joint 12b, and one end of the steel pipe 11c and one end of the transition joint 12b are connected via a joint 12c. A polyethylene pipe 14 is connected to the other ends of the transition joints 13a, 13b, and a pipeline 10 is formed as a whole. The polyethylene pipe 14 can be adjusted in length to have the design allowable elongation capable of corresponding to the magnitude of an earthquake at a location expected with the earthquake, thus the pipeline 10 can be piped to have an aseismatic property. The polyethylene pipe 14 can be mechanically simply connected to the steel pipe 11 via the transition joint 13, and the pipeline 10 is easily piped.
