Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ash feeding device capable of surely preventing the occurrence of a bridge phenomenon of ash by a necessary minimum quantity of air or a gas such as nitrogen.
SOLUTION: A cooling gas for cooling the screw shaft 7 of a screw feeder 3 is carried into the screw shaft 7, and a number of gas outlet ports 10 are provided on the screw shaft 7 to blowout the gas from the gas outlet ports 10.
