A fuel supplying apparatus 3 for supplying a fluff as a fuel to a heating burner 4 of an ash melting furnace 1 has a fluff storage hopper 31, a wind power sorter 33 for sorting the fluff taken out of the hopper 31 to a light weight fluff and a heavy weight fluff by a wind power, a fuel supply line 34 for supplying the light weight fluff sorted by the sorter 33 to the burner 4, and a heavy weight material supply line 35 for supplying the wind power sorted heavy weight fluff to an ash supply unit 2 side for supplying the ash to the furnace 1.
