PURPOSE: To enhance an ash melting and processing capacity, extract effectively a contained ceramic component or metallic component, and prevent the generation of harmful gas or the like from the waste treatment of ashes.
CONSTITUTION: There is installed a plurality multi-phase AC type multi-system electrodes 9 which melt ashes by a plurality of flames generated directed into an ash melting furnace floor section 7 from an opening in a furnace body, and mix the ashes in a spiral state, heat the mixed ashes to a higher temperature quickly and force the heated ashes to float. There are also installed a plurality of a second multi-phase AC type multi-system electrodes which further fluidize an unmolten portion of the ashes which flow out from the ashes melting furnace floor section directed at the central part of the furnace by a plurality of arc flames generated in a horizontal furnace floor section 25, a high temperature gas shielding door which shields the flow out of the gas to a high temperature gas rising section installed at the inlet of the high temperature gas rising section from the central part of the furnace and first and second mold conveyer devices 21 and 23 which pick up ash molten articles and carry out continuous mold processing, thereby constituting this ash melting treatment device.
