Abstract:

To provide a beautiful and technologically excellent ashes storage body for a funeral at sea, having a function as an urn, capable of being displayed and possessed to feel an attachment by the deceased before the person dies, capable of holding the ashes in the stored state on the bottom of the sea for a desired period after the funeral at sea without a risk of contamination of the sea water, and capable of being collected if necessary, though the collection is not necessary.

The ashes storage body is composed of an ashes storage part body 2 and a lid 3. The ashes storage part body 2 is made of a univalve shell form which the content is removed, and uses the bottom of a shell aperture 21 as an ashes storage part 22. The lid 3 is made of a translucent natural solid material to close the shell aperture 21 at an upper position of the ashes storage part 22.
