Abstract:
To provide a method for measuring the asphalt amount included in an asphalt mixture using an asphalt dissolving agent which can dissolve asphalt substantially completely and does not cause environmental problems.
The method for measuring the asphalt amount included in an asphalt mixture comprises: dissolving an asphalt mixture by the asphalt dissolving agent including 60-99 wt.% of toluene and 1-40 wt.% of tetralin; after separating this into a liquid component and a solid component, measuring the weight of the separated solid component; and calculating the asphalt amount from the difference between the weight and the weight of the asphalt mixture before the dissolution.
